Welcome to Bluegrass Basics! This site is designed to get you going if you're interested in joining a bluegrass jam. There are a wide variety of jams but this site will help you learn the things you need to know to be successful just about anywhere you go. Check out the list of common songs (with chords and videos), jam etiquette, and the instrument-specific sections.

It seems like this may be an annually recurring tune of the month. Christmas Time's A Comin' isn't quite as straight-forward as it first appears, but it's always a fun one to play!
